I have designed each vintage fur to bring out the best of it's color and character.  Each fur I design are handcrafted and hand~stitch to give you the best quality possible.  The lining is hand picked for that specific fur.  I use Precoisa Crystals and element beading, to enhance the color highlights and give the fur an updated~contemporary look.   And interchangeable rhinestone brooches, gives you your own styling choices plus adds  just enough "POP or BLING" for that glamorous style with your wedding gown, prom dress, cruise wear or steampunk attire.

Although I have been working with furs sense 2004, I am not an expert in the knowledge of the different types of furs.  If there is a fur description that I have gotten wrong.  Please e-mail me at thehouseofkerri@earthlink.net to let me know about the mistake, so I can make changes.  When I design a fur, I may choose a look for that fur and then change the design.  Due to the fact that I may not like how the design looks when I'm done.  I may make changes to the rhinestone brooch, beaded fringe or lining after I have posted a picture, of a fur, for sale.  I will make note of it in the description.

SIZING:
All of my furs are measured as accurately as possible and stated in the description.  Please measure correctly for the fur you are ordering.
Measuring Yourself:  With a measuring tape,
Head:  Measure the circumference of your head where the band will sit.
Neck:  Measure the circumference of your neck where the collar will sit.
Bust/Chest:  Bust~around the fullest part of the chest.  Chest~just under the arms. 
Shoulders:   Measure the width around your shoulders for the correct measurement.
Sleeves:  From the outermost part of your shoulder~to your wrist bone.
Waist:  Around the narrowest part of your torso.
Hips:  Around the fullest part of your rear.

Vintage Condition
Vintage apparel can distinctly set us apart in style and taste,  connect us with another decade and generation, as well as transform a mundane gathering into an elegant event. Vintage is not new.  Most are pre~owned, pre~worn and pre~loved before appearing on my pages.  To preserve history, The House of Kerri will not disturb the integrity of a fur, if possible.  Instead,
The House of Kerri restores the furs to a mint condition, repairing the fur pelts if needed and replacing the batting and/or lining.  The furs will always arrive at my door with history, but it will be clean, and restored to a beautiful embellished, updated~contemporary fur.  On the occasion that a fur can not be preserved, I will make a new item out of that fur, continuing the recycling process.

Other
From time to time, you will find other items, such as Antiques, collectables or vintage items that I would like to offer too you.  So don't be surprised if your see other things besides furs, again, continuing the recycling process.

This Beautiful Embillished Vintage Black Fur Cape .  Is embellished with, Applique's that I hand dyed, then painstakenly attached Precoisa Crystal Rhinestones and Seed beads to the applique's.  I then hand sewn each applique' to the pelt, as well as, the Feathers and Seaquin Trim.  I then replaced the old tattered lining with a New Black and Silver Brocade lining that was hand sewn in, to give it a luxurious feel.  A figure that is a SMALL would fit this cape nicely when your going to the SteamPunk, Costume, Wedding or special event.

The House of Kerri Original ~  A Dark Brown Striped, Short Hair Mink Wrap.  Made out of the sleeve of a full length mink coat. The beaded fringe was hand made by meticulously stringing each bead with Precoisa Drop Crystal and elements.  A New Golden Brown Fabric was hand sewn for the lining to give it a warm, luxurious feeling. Beautiful Embellished Vintage Off White Rabbit Wrap, has been recreated with over 210 Precoisa Drop Crystals and Precoisa Elements just on the beaded fringe alone. I painstakenly thread each Precoisa Crystal by hand, to create this beautiful cascade of sparkling, Precoisa Crystals Beads. Then, for added sparkle, I created two Precoisa Crystal Tassels, that hang from two Rhinestone buttons.  I also hand sewn a Newly Satin Champagne fabric Embossed with a Floral pattern for a warm, snug feeling.  A figure that is SMALL, 39"in. around the shoulders will fit this beautiful wrap nicely with any Wedding gown, Evening attire, Prom dress or SteamPunk event.
